Safari & Teen Camp

The Arc of Chester County’s Camp Safari is a special place for children between age 4 to 12 to experience outdoor activities regardless of disability. Teen Camp is open to teens age 13 to 19.

Both camps offer:
  • New experiences and fun with peers
  • Activities including fishing, canoeing, swimming, sports, crafts, and nature study
  • Respite for family members and caregivers

Teen Camp and Camp Safari are both week-long summer day camps that operates from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Each camper has a one-on-one teen volunteer or an Arc Staff member. All staff and volunteers are supervised by the Family Support Services Manager of Community Based Services.

Parents of children receiving funding through the Chester County Department of Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities are encouraged to contact their  school district or supports coordinators for funding for Camp Safari and Teen Camp. Private pay options are available for children not receiving county or school funding.
