Safari & Teen Camp

The Arc of Chester County’s Camp Safari is a special place for children between age 4 to 12 to experience outdoor activities regardless of disability. Teen Camp is open to teens age 13 to 21.

Both camps offer:
  • New experiences and fun with peers
  • Activities including fishing, canoeing, swimming, sports, crafts, and nature study
  • Respite for family members and caregivers

Teen Camp and Camp Safari will run from August 19 – 23, 2019, and will operates from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Each camper has a one-on-one  staff member to camper ratio. Additionally, a nurse will be on site. All staff and volunteers are supervised by the Family Support Services Manager of Community Based Services.

Parents of children receiving funding through the Chester County Department of Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities are encouraged to contact their  school district or supports coordinators for funding for Camp Safari and Teen Camp. Private pay options are available for children not receiving county or school funding.
