Camp Safari
Is your family looking for respite services? The Arc of Chester County's Camp Safari is a special place for children between the ages of 4 and 11 to experience outdoor activities regardless of their physical challenges.- New experiences and friendships while having fun with peers
- Activities include fishing, canoeing, swimming, sports, crafts, and nature study
- An opportunity for interaction between children with and without developmental disabilities
- Build self confidence through achievement
- Respite for family members and caregivers
Camp Safari is a week-long summer day camp that operates from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There are two sessions each summer. Each camper has a one-on-one teen volunteer supporter in addition to trained camp staff.

Parents of children receiving funding through the Chester County
Department of Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities are
encouraged to contact their case managers to discuss funding for Camp Safari.
